Pictures on the internet are only for the oceanfront rooms. A majority of the other rooms are just old converted motel rooms. Our two bedroom suite included a master bedroom with no air conditioning to the room except for keeping the second bedroom door open and/or the living area door open. No closet in the second bedroom which had a dresser blocking the outside door of the former hotel room. Certainly wasn't as roomy as the pictures show.
Everything written in review "What a disappointment" is correct with the addition of no privacy. Both rooms were right next to each other. The first bedroom had to walk through the common area and kitchen to get to their bathroom. When you closed off the other BR with a bath, it was like a sauna because the air conditioning units were in the common area and other bedroom (especially if you just utilized the shower). Parking was also an issue. We booked through another resort that did not tell us about parking. We have two cars from two different States. We were there for Bike Week 2010. the morning after we arrived, we were told we had to move the other car off property because we were only allowed one parking pass. Try finding overnight parking in Daytona Beach. We were lucky that "The Shores" just down the street, helped us out, after I was practically in tears. Thank you to "The Shores" you made a trip worth while. The only upside was the view of the ocean from the pool deck. We paid $900 for the week for a 2 BR, 2 Bath, which was way too much for what was provided. Live and Learn!
